We decided to take an impromptu trip to Thailand very recently and have came up with a short travelogue based on a random series of events that have took place. During our trip, we were blessed to have experienced a fantastic inflight experience with Singapore Airlines, enjoyed the most exotic food you will find in Asia, stayed in a hotel suite, experienced awesome Thai Massages, enjoyed a relaxing session by the pool, got Andy’s shirts tailored and took an unconventional ride on the motorbike taxi. All in all, this trip was definitely one hell of an adventure and we are looking forward to the next destination!

We started Purple Lights as a social running event where we meet weekly to run at beautiful routes and conclude it with a nice meal. Our commitment is to approach running as an expression of fun. Personal fitness becomes a natural progression but is never the main focus.

Bobbi’s Pole Studio Singapore is a premier pole dancing school that offers unique opportunities for both women and men to learn pole dancing from professionally trained instructors. Every once, or sometimes twice a year, there will be a showcase opened to the public called Amateur Night where students of Bobbi’s Pole Studio get to participate, gear up and take center stage and perform for a huge audience!
This August 2012, Amateur Night was being held in Loof and I had the pleasure of documenting one of the participants, Chwenny, (a.k.a Mrs Sabotage of Royalefam) working her magic on the pole!
Special Thanks to Jamie for providing a secondary angle with her iPhone!

Singapore rock ‘n’ roll band, Cashew Chemists began life as a heavy metal act in 2005, under a totally different name. But the love and influence of classic pop-rock bands like The Beatles proved too strong and now the band favors strong melodies, sharp guitars and smart lyrics in lieu of former head-banging antics.
Consisting of close friends, Yuji Kumagai (vocals, rhythm guitar), Brian Chia (lead guitar, backing vocals), Elliot Sng (bass), Zachary Chia (percussion), Cashew Chemists also share a passion and drive to bring their music as far as it can go. The toppermost of the poppermost, if possible!
“Over You was written for a good friend of mine who went through a tough breakup with his girlfriend of 3 years. It was a crazy and complicated phase in his life filled with betrayal, deceit and lies.
In all seriousness, it was heart wrenching to see him struggle through the days and I wrote this song, as cliched as it might sound, to tell him that there was still a huge world out there for him to explore and experience and that there was no point dwelling on the past.
You take the hit, and you move on like the good man you are, you know?” – Yuji

White Antler is a lifestyle brand that specializes in handcrafted home decor ornaments made for Art Lovers, Collectors and Connoisseurs alike, their product is the result of pure passion of a combination of DIY, eclectic style and daring design.
Conceptualized by Linda, founder of White Antler, The Skull Kitchen portrays a day in life for Linda which depicts the start to end process of handcrafting a Skull with a clever twist in a form of a cooking show.
When Linda shared her thoughts with me, I knew I had to capture some interesting process shots that would help make the whole film interesting. I wanted to highlight all the processes in a way that it would capture the audience attention and more importantly, to understand the passion and effort that was put into the making of the skull.
I really enjoyed producing and watching this video as it has reminded me to always operate out of passion in whatever you do and the results would show.

A small team from Nike South East Asia has recently attended a Custom Sneaker Workshop conducted by Mr & Mrs Sabotage in their very own studio!
This production came about when I was approached by Mr Sabotage to document down this workshop with the objective of having this video for Nike’s Internal Communication. With that in mind, I wanted to capture the process of the workshop alongside with the emotion of the participants to bring out the story.
Throughout the shoot, we found many interesting elements in the office which was used to establish the location and the overall mood. As the energy of the day was really positive, it wasn’t hard for me to capture the strong team bonding spirit of the participants which really breath life into the video!
I am really happy with how this video turn out especially after finding the right music to pair with the visuals! I felt the emotions was really brought out and the overall mood of the video was achieved!
